Holy Grill was founded by three brothers, Nicholas, Jonathan, and Andrew Yee, who were raised in the restaurant business from day one. Long before opening their own concept, they were learning the ropes in their family’s restaurant across Calgary
From bussing tables and working the dish pit to serving guests and cooking on the line, the Yee brothers experienced every role firsthand. They didn’t just grow up around restaurants. They grew up inside them.
Their foundation was shaped by two strong cultural influences. Their mother, originally from Holland, instilled a deep appreciation for hospitality, organization, and community-driven service. Their father, who immigrated from China, brought a strong work ethic and deep respect for food, efficiency, and consistency.
That blend of cultures, warmth and precision, bold flavors and honest execution, became the blueprint for Holy Grill.
What started as a family trade evolved into something of their own. A brand built on decades of hands-on experience, hard work, consistency, and a genuine passion tor serving great food. Holy Grill is not just a restaurant concept. It is the natural evolution of a lifetime in the industry.
